Tools for Equality. Art for fun. Anywhere.

Upgrading those who grade.

At Tech Teachers Travel, we empower educators with the tools and support needed to move to the next level in technology education. Our mission is to meet people where they are and enable them to reach whatever they want as their next level in technology.

We also believe that technology should enhance and serve humanity. The more who know what’s under the hood the better. But also, shouldn’t it be used to make use happy? We do that by creating music and art using technology.

Join us on this journey to enhance the learning experience worldwide.

Empowering Journeys with Tech and Travel

Explore authentic feedback from our happy techies and educators Tech Teachers Travel founder Lindsay Craig has helped.

“We look forward to many years of growth in our partnership with Tech Teachers Travel and Lindsay….

We have seen an increase in the capabilities of our robotics team.

He has left the students he worked with more aware of electronics, but more importantly, he is working to support our educators so that the program will continue to thrive and flourish.”

Sarah Herman

Head of School at Our Sister’s School

“There are those that do and those that help others do more. Lindsay Craig is the rare person who combines those characteristics in a way that inspires others to do the same.

As a member of the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Advisory Board since 2014, Lindsay has had a leading role in steering the focus of the conference. Beyond carefully reviewing submissions to the call for speakers and providing recommendations, he serves as a trusted advisor on changes in the industry since the last conference and what our attendees need to know to stay ahead of future trends.

In 2017, when he was the recipient of the Rising Engineering Star award from Design News, Lindsay had co-founded SparkFun’s Electronics Education Department and created two start-ups…. He was leading teams that, in total, taught tens of thousand how to solder, taught Arduino to thousands of students and educators, created a prototype to teach robotics, programming, and math to blind and sight impaired students, and developed the first workshop to teach robotics to blind people in Africa and helped start two Makerspaces in Uganda focused on PCB Design, rapid prototyping, physical computing, wearables, wireless systems, and rudimentary augmented reality interfaces.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Craig. He is a mentor, a friend, an advisor and will always be an outstanding and passionate Fundi, which is the highest professional respect I can pay him.

Mr. Craig was extremely helpful in the early development of our curriculum which we used across all our robotics clubs….

This world will be a much better place with more people like Mr. Craig in it.”

“Linz is a skilled, highly creative person who has an eye for what will and will not work in a classroom setting. His teaching style and class material set a high level of quality….

Linz regularly offered new ideas that could be turned into products by the engineering staff. His work creating the SparkFun Inventor’s Kit binder was exemplary.

Linz is respectful, trustworthy and will bend over backwards to see that the job gets done correctly. He is a caring person who made many good friends at SparkFun including myself.”

Nathan Seidle

Founder, SparkFun Electronics

“Tech Teachers Travel gave me my first introduction to working with SMD and creative coding using Processing. They also taught me soldering, rework techniques, and how to use Eagle for PCB design. They have refined several teaching methods that simplify complex technical concepts, making learning and teaching STEM an engaging and accessible journey for a wide range of learners. I look forward to continuing our cooperation.”
